We are looking to recruit a Web Developer to join our team immediately and learn from an experienced Senior Web Developer. This role is based in Edmonton, North London, offering a salary of £25,000-30,000 per annum. About the Role:
As our Web Developer your main responsibility is to be involved in creative designing, optimising and maintaining websites. Programming and coding is another major part of the role. In addition, the role involves making the Carrier Bag Shop website’s information and its structure accessible and appealing. The Web Developer reports to the Senior Developer in the first instance, and works in close conjunction and supporting the IT & Marketing teams.
Main Responsibilities:

Required Knowledge and Experience:
ESSENTIAL
· A minimum of 2 years experience in coding
· A minimum of 2 years experience in web development
· Knowledge of VB. Net framework (any between 3.5-4.5) and SQL Server
· Knowledge of stored procedures
· Experience of back end development
· Ability to manage database and front end development
· Solid interpersonal and communication both verbal and written
· Ability to find practical solutions to problems
· Ability to work with a team as well as take own initiative
· Possess strong organisational skills and prioritise work without any loss of accuracy
· Able to manage time effectively in order tomeet deadlines while also working within a budget
· Be creative and imaginative
· Business etiquette
· Be responsible, accountable and reliable
· Solid coding skills
DESIRABLE
· Knowledge of SVN and/or IIS
· Understanding of Agile
· Understanding of responsive web designing
· Knowledge of CSS, Jquery and Ajax
