AUTOMATIC PRINTING

This is when the bag can be printed with more than one colour, there are no restrictions when it comes to the dimensions of the area being printed and full colour process can be printed. It includes flexographic printing, which gives a smooth finish with crisp detail. It also includes Lithographic printing, used for high quality full colour process prints.

OVERPRINTING

Overprinting is a process used for stock bags, whereby only one colour can be printed and there is a limitation to the print area. Overprinting is a cost effective method.

SCREEN PRINTING

Screen printing is a technique that uses a woven mesh 'printing screen' where an ink-blocking stencil is applied which creates open areas that transfer the ink to other printable materials. Only solid colours can be used for screen printing and this method is mainly used for printing our cotton and jute bags.

TRANSFER PRINTING

Transfer printing is used for photographic style images. Transfer prints are used for certain images to be printed to cotton carrier bags for fabric materials.
