The Client: Kent Cosmetics Limited is a cosmetics company that have been established for over 20 years playing a leading role in bringing new products to market.
The Brief: Kent Cosmetics were in charge of launching Rihanna’s new perfume to the UK market and approached us to help them deliver a packaging solution that matched the brand and prestige of the singer endorsed product. They wanted a luxury bag with a full colour print and as the product launch was fast approaching they required a quick turnaround.
The Solution: In order to support the brand identity a gloss laminated bag with rope handles was chosen and to achieve the full colour print, the paper card was printed on a lithographic press and converted by hand to bags to ensure optimum quality finishing. The bags were transported by air to make certain that the deadline was met.

The Client: Bravissimo is a leading women’s lingerie supplier for over 17 years. Starting as a sitting room business they are now a multi million pound award winning business retailing online and on the high street.
The Brief: Bravissimo contacted us directly to supply bags for their Christmas 2011 sales. The bag was an 18” x 18” plastic bag, which is a unique size, and the print was a simple one colour all over the bag. Time was of the essence as, if they were not delivered on time they would not be of any use to the client.
The Solution: Once these needs had been established, a patch handle bag was recommended to achieve the print all over the bag. They were printed in the UK and were turned around and delivered on time.

The Client: Capezio are a renowned retailer of dancewear and accessories online and in their worldwide stores
The Brief: Capezio were looking for strong and heavy weight bag for their products when they sell them at their retail outlets. The most important aspects were the strength of the bag and to have enough capacity for the wide range of products they stock.

The Solution: We had narrowed the choice of bag down to Cotton and Jute and to pinpoint the right solution we sent a range of samples of bags we had printed previously. The final choice from Capezio was a Black 10oz Cotton bag with a bottom and side gusset. As the bag is dyed black, in order for their red logo to print to the right quality a white undercoat was applied first and then the red on top.

The Client: London Smiling is a renowned dental practice that has been featured on the TV programmes 10 Years Younger & How to look good naked
The Brief: London Smiling needed 500 luxury bags that were a very specific size to fit their new range of dental product. In addition to this the replication of their pantones and logos was very important. These bags needed to match the prestige of their brand.
The Solution: Due to the specific size and quality required we recommended a hand-made laminated bag. These bags were to be bespokely made to client’s specification in our factory in Europe. We had a time constraint of 20 days which we were able to fulfil with no hesitation.

The Client: Mr Simms is a high qualitybrand supplying a huge range of new and retro confectionary in their multiple retail outlets.
The Brief: Mr Simms needed a large quantity of two different types of paper bags. The first style was a kraft paper bag with flat handles that could hold the weight they required and the second style was a flat kraft counter bag. The bag and the print needed to keep to their traditional and rustic styling.
The Solution: The paper carrier bags we suggested were with the flat handles internally attached and to be 100GSM to hold the weight. The print and bag quality they required could be achieved by going to Italy and due to the quantity required we were also able to help them achieve cost efficiencies by sourcing overseas.

The Client: Ipswich Town Football Club are currently a Championship Football club with a rich history. This project allowed Carrier Bag Shop to venture into the sports merchandise industry for the first time, and was an exciting opportunity to work alongside Ipswich Town on a project for their retail store.
The Brief: To deliver a duffle style bag that conveyed both a sporty theme and the passion that fans feel for their club. The bag was designed to be given away to fans in the club retail store in conjunction with their 2012/13 kit launch in June. Our Buyer and Senior Designer worked alongside their Head of Retail to come up with the right design to fulfil the brief. After presenting the client various design options to select from, a design was chosen, signed off and sent to production.
The Solution: The collaboration between ourselves and Ipswich Town has been a close one, and we are pleased to have produced a bag that fulfils the brief requirements in full.
